This might have been a bad idea...

Last week, we discovered kittens living in our backyard.

This is the third time this summer we've found a littler of kittens in either our or one of our neighbor's yards.

Some tom-cat has been having a fantastic time running up and down our streets, impregnating all the female cats this year.

We're not really sure what to do with these kittens...

There's 5 of them (plus the mom) and the animal shelter won't take them. They claim that because no on got their pets neutered during the COVID pandemic, there's been an explosion of kittens the last 5 years and they just don't have the space for them.

So...

We're doing what any wise, self-respecting adults would do:

We named them all and we feed them every night.

At first, they all scurried away under my neighbor's fence at the sight of us.

But slowly... surely... they're warming up to us. Now they're comfortable enough to eat with us present. We even got a laser pointer to play with them too.

Before you know it, I'm sure they'll all be meow-ing at my back door for food each night.

And before you judge me!... What else was I gonna do!? My choices were:

A) Feed them

B) Adopt them into my house

C) Let them perish

A is clearly my best option.

Plus, I'm sure in due time they'll repay me by keeping my yard free of mice ๐Ÿค˜

Now it's time for the shameless segue into this newsletter's sales pitch.

The Garside Family Kitten Saga is actually a terrific analogy for email marketing. When you send your first email campaign, people may be a little timid about it. But...

By showing up consistently with value, entertainment, and insight, people start to look forward to your content in their inbox each week. And eventually...

They buy from you!
