Phone Numbers Are Not Good CTAs
You're losing money if your phone number is the only call-to-action you put in your emails. Think about it: Most homeowners are in NO POSITION to make a phone call when they're checking their email. They are: - Procrastinating work - Sitting in traffic - Lounging on the couch surrounded by family - On the toilet - At a restaurant So you'll trick yourself into thinking email doesn't work for your business if the only option you give people is to call your phone number! When I write email campaign, I put 3 call-to-actions in every email: ๐ Book now โ [LINK] ๐ Call or text โ [PHONE] โ๏ธ Or just reply 3 options - one for every situation you might be in. If they can call you, great! If not, they may have to book online (or get pricing online if you use a tool like Contractor Commerce) But if they're in a rush, that's what the reply call-to-action is for. Try this, and let me know what happens to your response. |
